School Programs
Poverty of place should not equal poverty of culture, imagination, or creativity.
One of the three core tenants of the OPAS mission, we believe that engaging the next generation in the performing arts is key to keeping the arts alive and vibrant. Each year, OPAS brings arts education programs to more than 2,000 students each year from Greene, Putnam, Baldwin, Hancock, and Taliaferro counties.

OPAS is supported in part by Georgia Council for the Arts through the the appropriations of the Georgia General Assembly. Georgia Council for the Arts also recieves support from its partner agency - The National Endowment for the Arts.
Each school year, OPAS presents outstanding programs and Masterclasses to local students at no charge.
