a Memorial Tribute to Roman Terleckyj

Anyone who knew OPAS’ Founding Executive Director, Roman Terleckyj, knew that no show
 
could be complete without a special social event; so in honor of this tradition, the evening

began with a pre-show reception, hosted by Gregory Barnard for the donors of Festival
 
Hall. Guest enjoyed delectable morsels with champagne and

wine in one of Greensboro’s
 
historic homes, The Weaver House. 

 

In continuation of Roman’s tradition, OPAS Circles’ Members joined Mr. Lithgow backstage
 
after his performance for a champagne toast. Guests
 
mingled in the backstage halls offerin them a unique

opportunity to meet this legendary star of stage, screen and TV.

 

Gregory Barnard gave an eloquent toast in which he thanked
 
Mr. Lithgow for making the inaugural performance of Festival

Hall such a resounding success. He went on further to talk about

Roman’s vision for this venue in downtown Greensboro and its
 
importance to this community. 

Mr. Lithgow proved to be not only an extraordinary performer
 
but a delightful man with an engaging personality. An

enjoyable evening for all in attendance.
