The engine of the Oconee Performing Arts Society is fueled by a dedicated

and spirited group of volunteers who happily donate their time and talent to

help bring our performances to life.  These energetic souls comprise the Figaro

Society, so named for the quintessential “get-it-done” character himself,

famous for his ingenuity, enthusiasm and pluck!
 

The October 2007 Preservation Hall Jazz Band concert provided the first

backdrop for their volunteerism, and the joyous musical celebration that

ensued was evidence of their hard work.  We at OPAS are indebted to each

and every volunteer in the Figaro Society, to which we extend an operatic

Bravo!
